10.00 Marc Newson Limited
Marc Newson is one of the most accomplished and influential designers of his generation. Initially known for his sculptural furniture
designs he has gone on to work across a wide range of disciplines to create everything from household objects, a concept car for Ford, restaurant and interior designs, mobile phones and clothing.
His design company Marc Newson Ltd is based
in London and the Design Director,
Nicolas Register, will be presenting some recent projects which have had a substantial Rhino involvement; notably the interiors of the
Quantas A380 aircraft and the EADS Astrium Space Plane.

Waywood Furniture Design & Makers are a
small team that has been designing and making pieces of furniture to commission since 1986.
Waywood generally favour simplicity of design and work in sympathy with the wood employing its natural warmth and feel. Although the pieces are individual this is never achieved at the expense of a harmonious and functional design, nor solely by the use of decoration.
Rhino is used throughout the design stages and
V-Ray renders are used to present clients with photorealistic images prior to construction.
Waywood also use RhinoCAM to drive
their SCM Router
