KeyShot

Version 2 Now Shipping !

KeyShot™ 2
is an all new application built on Luxion's production proven realtime raytracing and global illumination technology. Luxion have taken the world's fastest rendering engine, and made it even faster.

KeyShot works with any 3D digital data. Using scientifically accurate materials, real world lighting and all of your computers processor power to deliver stunning images of your data - instantly!

New in Version 2

Significantly faster realtime interaction. A new,
rapid, high-quality shadowing algorithm takes
full advantage of multi-core CPUs, delivering
smooth, noise-free results instantly.

Optimised workflow through new interface.

Drag and drop capabilities of materials,
textures and envrionments.

A scene tree that makes interaction with
mulitple parts and models a snap.

A new innovative labeling system allows any
number of labels to be added to any material.

New import pipeline supports many more file
formats on both PC and Mac.

KeyShot is easy to use with Rhino:

KeyShot, the key to amazing shots
1 Create your Rhino model. If you assign materials by layers then these materials will select as a group inside KeyShot 2. You can also set up any specific texture mapping inside Rhino using the mapping widget. You can either save the Rhino file and open in KeyShot 2 or use the (free) KeyShot 2 plug-in and hit 'Render'.

KeyShot, the key to amazing shots
2 From hitting the 'KeyShot - Render' button in Rhino, KeyShot 2 opens, maintaining the Rhino camera position, basic material colours and textures.
