Two Day Introduction

Rhino.Python™ is a powerful scripting language in Rhino 5.0 for 32 and 64-bit Windows and
Rhino for OS X. Rhino.Python™ scripts will run unchanged on both platforms. Python is built for flexibility and clear syntax

This is the ideal course for designers and engineers who want to lay the foundation for Rhino.Python™ scripting, as well as for RhinoScript users who want to stay up to date.

This workshop will convey necessary ideas and tools to successfully code geometry in Rhinoceros 5 on Windows and Mac.

This course is delivered by Giulio Piacentino of McNeel. As a participant, you will be guided through the details of this new and friendly programming language in Rhino, including: automating commands at necessity with macros, performing calculations, making decisions after iterating code and manipulating several data structures.

We will also study how to couple Python’s iteration and recursion powers to extend Grasshopper.
