Overview of Materials in V-Ray for Rhino

In this thirty minute webinar, Phil Cook
of Simply Rhino will look at the materials
system in V-Ray for Rhino 2.0.

The principles of creating a material from
scratch in V-Ray will be introduced and the
following elements will be examined:

Diffuse Colour
Reflectivity - Reflection and Highlight
The importance of the Fresnel filter
Using an image map (texture) in lieu of
a diffuse colour
Controlling texture mapping in Rhino
Toon (cartoon) materials
